Maria McCann

Biography

Maria McCann is the Founder and CEO of Future Focus and a digital organisational psychologist specialising in AI adoption, organisational transformation and leadership. She has over 25 years of experience spanning healthcare technology, financial technology, government, property and telecommunications. Previously, she held a senior leadership role at Ireland’s Health Service Executive (HSE), where she led national digital health programmes and the crisis data response supporting Ukrainian citizens. This work earned her the CIO Crisis Technology Leadership Award in 2023. Maria advises boards and executive teams on digital transformation, organisational culture and leadership. She also serves on the Board of Directors of FIT. She is currently a doctoral candidate researching organisational readiness for artificial intelligence, with a focus on AI governance, leadership and the human dimensions of technology adoption.
