Terms of use

These terms govern use of the ISMAI 2026 microsite.

Use of the microsite

The microsite provides information about International Symposium on Medical AI, ISMAI 2026. Information is provided in good faith. Programme details, faculty and timings may change before the event.

Registration for ISMAI 2026

Registration is for International Symposium on Medical AI, organised by International Society of Medical AI (ISMAI). Registration is confirmed only after payment is successfully verified by the payment processor, or after an approved complimentary or code-based route is confirmed by the secretariat. A pending registration does not guarantee a place.

Code-based access routes, complimentary registrations and any reviewer-approved waivers are subject to organiser approval. Eligibility for those routes is at the discretion of the scientific and organising committees.

Delegates are responsible for providing accurate registration information, including name, professional details and contact email. Abstract presenters must register under their normal delegate category; presenter status does not create a separate price category.

Payment, card data and refunds

Paid registration is processed by Stripe Checkout, hosted by Stripe. ISMAI does not collect or store card details on the microsite. Stripe may provide a payment receipt depending on the payment settings configured on the Stripe account. Formal invoice arrangements, VAT/IVA treatment, and accounting documentation will be handled in accordance with applicable legal and fiscal requirements.

Cancellations must be requested in writing by email to secretariat@ismai.org and must include the registration reference. Cancellation requests received on or before 30 September 2026 may be refunded, less any non-recoverable payment processing charges or administrative costs. Cancellation requests received from 1 October 2026 onwards are normally non-refundable. No refunds are available for non-attendance.

Approved refunds are not automated through this microsite. They are handled administratively through the payment provider or other appropriate accounting route. Refund timing may depend on payment-provider processing and accounting review.

Substitutions

Delegate substitutions may be considered if requested in writing to secretariat@ismai.org before 15 November 2026. Substitutions are subject to approval by the ISMAI Secretariat and must remain within the appropriate delegate category. Any difference in registration fee must be paid before the substitution is confirmed.

Programme changes and force majeure

ISMAI may amend the programme, speakers, timing, venue arrangements or delivery format where required for operational, safety, regulatory or other reasons outside its reasonable control. If the symposium cannot proceed as planned due to circumstances outside ISMAI's reasonable control, ISMAI will communicate the available options to registered delegates.

ISMAI is not responsible for travel, accommodation, visa, insurance or other personal costs incurred by delegates in connection with the symposium.

Abstract submission

Abstracts are submitted through the microsite under the conditions set out on the abstracts page and in the abstract terms and declarations. Acceptance is at the discretion of the scientific committee. Presenters of accepted abstracts must complete registration before presentation. Submission does not guarantee acceptance.

Certificates and accreditation

Certificates of attendance are issued by ISMAI subject to verified attendance and any other published conditions. Registration alone does not entitle a delegate to a certificate. ISMAI 2026 is a CME / CPD accredited event carrying 12 CME / CPD credits; credits are awarded on the basis of verified attendance and completion of the symposium feedback questionnaire.

Media, recording and intellectual property

Media access and onsite recording may be subject to approval. By submitting an abstract, authors consent to its inclusion in the official abstract book and other event materials as described in the abstract terms.

Limitation

ISMAI does not warrant that the microsite information is free of errors. Draft programme information should not be relied upon for travel or other commitments until confirmed.
