Biography

Paolo Silvano is an Italian healthcare executive active in France and in European private-hospital governance. He serves as Senior Advisor and permanent guest to the Board of Relyens, and as Auditor of the European Union of Private Hospitals for the 2025 to 2027 mandate. He chaired the scientific committee of the 2026 Relyens Prospective Health Risk Report for Europe. He holds a law degree from the University of Turin and an MBA from Harvard Business School, and began his career in strategy consulting at Monitor before assuming senior operational roles across the agrifood sector and several private-hospital groups. His healthcare career has included executive appointments at Générale de Santé, Vivalto Santé and ELSAN. His work focuses on hospital strategy, operational transformation, governance, risk management and the resilience of European healthcare organisations.
