ISMAI 2026, the International Symposium on Medical AI, is held in Florence on 3-4 December 2026 at Aula Magna CTO, AOU Careggi. Organised by the International Society of Medical AI, the symposium is clinician-led and vendor-neutral. Its editorial focus is on medical AI, clinical judgement, patient safety, ethics, governance, validation and responsible implementation across the real clinical pathway. The programme is structured around six scientific themes: foundations of medical AI, clinical AI implementation, medical AI validation and patient safety, medical AI ethics and philosophy, healthcare AI governance, and medical AI education and professional formation.

ISMAI 2026, the International Symposium on Medical AI, takes place in Florence on 3-4 December 2026 at Aula Magna CTO, AOU Careggi. It is organised by the International Society of Medical AI, a non-profit society and a registered charity in Ireland (RCN 20206982), clinician-led and vendor-neutral, focused on patient safety, ethics and governance in medical AI. The Florence symposium is designed as an international meeting point for clinicians, scientists, ethicists, legal scholars, regulators, patient representatives, trainees and healthcare leaders working on the responsible use of medical AI. The programme is structured around six scientific themes: foundations of medical AI, clinical AI implementation, medical AI validation and patient safety, medical AI ethics and philosophy, healthcare AI governance, and medical AI education and professional formation. Editorial priorities are clinical judgement, patient safety, ethics, governance, validation and responsible implementation across the real clinical pathway. Abstracts are accepted through the official call for abstracts and reviewed under published editorial principles. Registration and payment for delegate categories is processed through the official microsite via Stripe Checkout, and ISMAI does not store card details on the microsite. ISMAI 2026 is a CME / CPD accredited event and carries 12 CME / CPD credits, awarded to delegates who meet the attendance and feedback requirements. Certificates of attendance are issued by ISMAI following verification of attendance and completion of the symposium feedback questionnaire. The theme of the Florence edition is The Renaissance of Clinical Intelligence.
